Growing a second D2C brand efficiently
SoKind launched around two years after Copenhagen Grooming.
Today, a team of around 17 people operates both brands. Keeping that organisation lean means automating operational work and giving the team more time for product, marketing and creative.
“We can handle two brands because it's quite similar in the operation.”
Separate where it matters. Shared where it makes sense.
Each brand has its own Odoo instance and database, keeping operations, catalogs and accounting independent.
Behind them is a shared code base maintained by ForgeFlow.
That means common integration logic, fixes and improvements can be developed once and deployed across both environments — reducing duplicated development and maintenance.
SoKind x ForgeFlow
From Shopify to fulfillment
ForgeFlow built the operational foundation behind SoKind, including:
- Shopify & Odoo integration for orders, stock, variants and fulfillment.
- Warehouse automation including batch picking and shipping labels.
- Finance & reconciliation across ecommerce and accounting.
- Infrastructure & backups to keep the platform stable and maintainable.
- Migration to Odoo, including data migration, testing and reconciliation before go-live.
More time for what grows the brand
By automating administrative and operational processes, the team can focus its capacity where it creates more value.
Creative. Marketing. Product development.
"It was super easy for us to focus on what we do best"
An ongoing partnership
ForgeFlow has supported and maintained SoKind since 2022, helping the team resolve issues, evolve the platform and handle new operational requirements as they appear.
Communication happens directly through Slack, keeping the relationship close and removing unnecessary layers between the business and the people working on its systems.
