Install in production
Install in production
These steps deploy ForgeFlow Cloud ERP Standard on a server, behind a Traefik reverse proxy with HTTPS.
1. Download
Clone the repository on the server as described in Download.
2. Start the reverse proxy
Review the Traefik settings in config/traefik/, then start the proxy (once per server):
docker compose -f inverseproxy.yaml up -d3. Set your domain
copier update --trustWhen asked for the production domains, enter your domain (for example erp.example.com). This regenerates prod.yaml with the routing for your domain.
4. Set the secrets
Create the folder .docker/ with three files:
# .docker/odoo.env
ADMIN_PASSWORD=choose-a-strong-master-password
# .docker/db-access.env
PGPASSWORD=choose-a-strong-db-password
# .docker/db-creation.env
POSTGRES_PASSWORD=the-same-db-passwordThe .docker/ folder is ignored by Git. Keep these files private.
5. Build and start
docker compose -f prod.yaml up -d --buildThe image is built on your server, downloading Odoo Community and the OCA modules during the build.
6. Install the Standard modules
docker compose -f prod.yaml run --rm odoo addons initThen open https://your-domain and log in.
Backups
The project includes a backup service (duplicity.yaml) and the scripts scripts/backup.sh and scripts/restore.sh. Set up regular backups before you go live.
